Glen Eira · Bayside · Kingston
Nine local clubs, programs from age 3, and the McKinnon Cougars in VJBL and Big V. If your kid wants to play basketball around here, this is where it starts.
Programs
Pick where you're at. Every program runs through McKinnon, so moving up is easy when you're ready.
Small hoops, small balls and a lot of fun. Kids learn to dribble, pass and shoot with coaches who know how to keep little ones busy.
Play with your mates for one of our nine clubs, in winter and summer seasons. Want to get better between games? The Academy runs skills sessions for every level.
Our representative teams play in the VJBL, the state's junior league. Rep Ready intensives get players set for tryouts.
Senior domestic comp runs in winter and summer, from social teams to serious ones. At the top, our men and women play Big V.
Our All Abilities program is for kids and adults with a disability. Same courts, same club, coaches who adapt the game to the player.
McKinnon Cougars
Our men's and women's teams both won the Big V Championship this year. Plenty of them started here in Aussie Hoops.
Domestic competition
Every domestic team plays for a McKinnon club. Join one near you, or register and we'll find you a team.
